So I’ve been trying to put together my Blissdom post in the evenings, and there is just so much good info that I want to share with you all, not to mention a ton of links to new bloggers whom I met at the conference. Suffice to say, I’m not done with it yet.
However, I am excited to share that I’ve registered for the Indie Business 3.0 online course, led by Leigh-Ann from FreckledNest, Lisa from Lisa Leonard Designs, and Jill from Lune Vintage. I first heard of the class at Blissdom, when I had the pleasure of talking with Lisa Leonard for a few minutes. Not only does her jewelry kick ass – but she’s an awesome lady, and so friendly! After talking with her, as soon as she mentioned the course, I knew I had to do it. In the world of small handmade businesses, she’s most definitely one of my heroes.
Anyway, I wanted to give you all a heads’ up about this course. At only $90, it’s affordable and sure to be worth it. What if you don’t have a handmade business or other product? Well, I think that it’s great even for bloggers who are pondering expanding their capabilities by introducing an ebook, or other digital products. It’s taught online in a blog-like format, which totally allows you to take things at your own pace. I seriously can not wait!
If any of you decide to join me at Indie Business, please let me know!
Have you taken any online blogging or business-related courses? If so, what was your experience? Do tell, especially if you have any recommendations!
*Disclaimer: I was neither compensated nor asked to endorse this class – I’m sharing because I’m excited about it, and thought some of you might be too.

Super exciting! My MIL is trying to get me to start an etsy shop. But i’d totally rather just advertise yours =)
Hey girl! It was awesome to meet you at the (in)Courage party at Blissdom! 🙂 Hoped you’ve recouped from the trip. See ya around…

Thank you for sharing this. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog the last few weeks. As a renter myself I find it very refreshing reading a blog by another non-homeowner. Blissdom sounded like an amazing experience. Can’t wait to read more about it. And I am super excited to hear about how how indie business 3.0 goes. I am tempted to sign up for it myself but fear I don’t have enough time between working 50 hours a week and wedding planning (the latter is way more time consuming than I anticipated). Keep up the good work. I have you on my blogroll so I read every post!
PS-My blog is http://www.ourbigfatfarmwedding.blogspot.com …I seem to have an issue adding my website anytime I leave a comment on your blog. I am sorta new to the blog scene (and I am a blonde) so I am not sure if it’s something I do wrong but just thought I would let you know.
