On Sunday my bffs and I attended the Mid-Atlantic Green Wedding Showcase. Though we were there scouting affordable DIY ideas to green up C’s wedding, I was pleasantly surprised by the hints of decor inspiration I found as well.
Several of the caterers and florists had fun and creative table scapes set up. One caterer, in particular, had a style that caught my attention. (Unfortunately I can not find their card to give them credit.)
I loved the cottage-turned-modern look of the bird’s nest under the cloche. Additionally, how could I not like the meringue-dipped brownie lollipops – presented, upside-down, in little flower pots?
Every time I see a cloche centerpiece, I wish I had a dining room table to decorate. Suddenly, everywhere you turn you see cloche centerpieces. And that makes me wonder: Has it already become cliché to cloche?
