Re-post from my old personal blog. Originally written Oct 23, 2009.
A few photos from a weekend visit to Linden Vineyards with Alyssa and Melissa, two of my very best friends. We were fortunate that the cold and dreary weather kept the crowds to a minimum on an otherwise perfect fall weekend.
Check out that gorgeous scenery behind the windows!
Trust me, the grapes taste muuuuuch better than they look! Absolutely delish!
The “Wine Egg,” imported directly from France. Apparently they’ve been using for centuries over there as an alternative to steel or oak barrels. When this baby arrived at Baltimore Harbor, vineyard owner Jim Law had to explain to them that it was not, in fact, a bomb. . .
A visit to Linden wouldn’t be complete without a special cellar tasting, of course. For a peek at the design inspirations I found at Linden, check out this post.
