Last night I cornered Ryan, becuase sometime during the day I decided it was time we put an end to the blank walls in our living room and dining area.
The poor guy was totally caught off guard, because my little brain had been chugging away, thinking of solutions, for several hours. And becuase we have an agreement that we both have to agree on decorating decisions, I couldn’t just dive in and run with an idea. Which although it sounds tough, turns out to be a good thing most of the time. Why? Becuase I’m so impulsive. And Ryan is not. He likes to ponder and think on decisions for a while.
My idea, for inexpensive art, was to blow up, mat, and frame some of my photos from our trips.
I absolutely love this close-up photo of some lichen growing on rocks. I think the colors, the textures, and the light are all perfect. Sure, it’s odd, but I think it’s totally awesome.
Do you think it would be odd to have a huge photo of lichen on the wall?
