So many design bloggers seem to have endless treasure troves of inspirational photos to share. I only have a handful.
But as I am working on the plan for a beachy, yet modern and minimalistic bedroom, I’m wishing I had a slew of inspiration images from which to choose. Right now I use Houzz and Apartment Therapy for most of my image perusing. I see some some of you using great images from the shelter mags, but when I go their websites I find it hard to quickly and easily find what I’m looking for. But maybe I’m doing it wrong.
So I ask you, if you had to pick only one or two easy sources of great decor inspiration photos, what would come to mind?
And while we’re on the topic, how do you store and organize those photos? Do you save individual photos to your computer, or do you bookmark them all?

I know exactly what you mean. I couldn’t agree more about the shelter mag sites. I like styleathome.com from Canada and myhomeideas.com. They have pretty decent galleries which are easy to scroll through. And I also use Google image search quite often. I tend to save pics on my computer in my “Design” folder but as I save more and more, I see I need to get a better system.
I’m horrible…I don’t download many photos at all. I used to before I followed lots of blogs, but now I just star the blog entry in my reader. If I see a picture elsewhere, I usually assume that it’ll come up on a blog eventually. Isn’t that lazy?
LOVE the 2nd inspiration photo!!! Once you find out how to organize the inspiration, let me know!!! I have loved reading your blog and seeing your progress. It’s amazing!
