Despite my fears of social awkwardness, I met some fabulous blogging ladies at Blissdom and wanted to share them with you. What better time than a “Lazy Sunday” post?
I roomed with my very good blog friend Katie of the journal shop Gadanke and the blog Making This Home. At the last minute we decided to open our room up to one random roommate, and I’m so glad we did! Candy of Candypolooza was a blast!
I met two ladies in line to get Scott Stratten to sign our new books, then got a second awesome dose of them later that Friday at dinner. Out of all the random people I met at the conference, they are my favorites – but I may be biased since I got to spend a good bit of time getting to know them:
- Barbara from Town & Country Mom – dying with envy that she lives on a real farm!
- Lilly from Pancakes and Beet Juice – I love how she’s decorated her house!
Thanks to Kristi of Creative Kristi for letting me invite myself to lunch with her group on Saturday. I’ve followed her on Twitter for ages so it was great to put a face to the name. Kristi has a graphic and blog design business, so give her a shout if you need WordPress design help! Our group had a great discussion about things like the horrors of GMO foods, at which point I knew they were my kind of people
