Blogging from the airport on a nexus tablet for the first time, and don’t know how to insert many pics. So check out the links!
If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you probably have met #nakedman.
No, he’s not my husband, but a palm-sized toy/doll that occasionally is photographed having adventures or generally hanging out in The Borrowed Abode.
I know, it’s both weird and silly that I enjoy posing a tiny doll for photos, and giggling about the state of his clothes – or lack thereof – but silly and odd are both parts of my personality, thankyouverymuch. Also, I have a very active imagination, and enjoy making up elaborate narrations in my head.
Two weeks ago, when my blogging-friend-turned-real-life-friend Rachel
went to Hawaii on her boyfriend’s business trip, she got custody of nakedman.
The photos she posted on Instagram were phenomenal. You really should follow her if you don’t already.
He visited the beach, enjoyed some tropical libations, and even had a ukulele lesson! Needless to say, if Rachel and I were a divorced couple, she’d be the “fun parent.”
But there’s a chance I can win back some fun points. Last night we transferred custody back to me, and today nakedman and I are off to Las Vegas for a week.
Let’s see what kind of trouble we can get into.

AWESOME! My family has a Gingy (from Shrek) that has been with us all over the world. This makes me think I should do a blog post about Gingy’s adventures.
