Last weekend my parents came down to visit, and I found out it was their 35th Anniversary!
We went to Meadowlark Gardens, a local botanical garden & park, to walk around.
(And take some photos)
The gardens were gorgeous, with several lakes and ponds and flower gardens and woods in which to walk around. For $35 for a family annual pass, it’s a great deal.
I couldn’t get over how many gorgeous butterflies were swarming around the flowers.
There’s even a children’s garden.
Not sure how a plant can be obedient.
One of my favorite spots was the hosta garden, a mulched path through the wood, surrounded by a ton of varieties of hosta.
So congratulations to my parents. 35 years is impressive to me, especially these days.
