There’s been one teensy-tiny addition to my desk at home: A new blogging toy.
It’s pretty, it’s got a large screen, and it’s mine, all mine. For years I’ve been using my company-provided laptop, which is great, but it was time to get personal.
Things I love about my new iMac: the large screen, the user-friendly interface, iPhoto, and the pricetag (very low, bought used from a friend). Oh, and I’ll admit it: I love how pretty, clean-lined, and white it is. It looks much prettier on my desk than any other desktop would have.
Now, if I can just wrestle my new toy away from the cat (he quite approves, if you can’t tell), I’ve got to get back to work. But first, any Mac fans out there? I know Jeannine is, as evidenced by this image of her fabulous desk. If so, what awesome things can I and should I do with this Mac? Not a Mac fan? Tell me why!

The hubs is a Mac, and I’m a PC. It’s a mixed marriage. He does swear by his though, and we let the occasional “inferior piece of garbage” snub fly back and forth just for fun.
I blog from a Macbook ! My husband is a PC user, but I think he even secretly prefers my Mac!

I LOVE MY MAC! I have a Macbook and I would never in one million years go back to a PC. Ever. It’s worth every dime. You’ll see! You will LOVE it! It takes a week or two to get used to the new functions, but after that you’ll be a pro!
Congrats on your purchase, btw!! Oh, and you can take free classes at the Apple store.
Hooray for a new blogging tool. I hope you have a fantastic time with it. I have a friend who is still pestering me about not having purchased a mac last year when I bought a new laptop.
I just got a new camera and some new software and am staying up way too late at night playing with it all. 🙂 And the best part is that it’s really helped me improve my blog.
