I wanted to pop in and say hello because I miss you guys. I had several posts that I hoped to finish during this week, but on Tuesday I found out my mom was in the hospital in Delaware. I drove up to be with her, of course. Her bone cancer had caused a tumor on her spine that, in turn, caused such pain that she was hospitalized for treatment. We’re spending every day here and I haven’t had much time for blogging.
That kind of sucks. Especially because the day after she was hospitalized was her birthday. The great news is that 5 radiation treatments should destroy the tumor and she’ll be able to recover her mobility.
I work from home most of the time so fortunately I am able to be with her without taking off work. For that I am incredibly thankful. However, regarding this blog – this is definitely a lower priority despite the fact that she keeps saying “when am I going to see a new blog post?”
Ok, mother, I see you have your priorities straight. I’ll get right on that. 😉

Take all the time you need. You only have one mom. Hope she is quickly on the road to a full recovery.

Oh my gosh, Jane, I’m so sorry. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Only your Mom would be concerned with a new blog. Glad you are keeping busy as is your mom. Love you both!!
Oh no! So sorry to hear about your Mom. I’ll be thinking of you and your family and praying for you all. Sometimes, these blogs need a little rest anyway. At least, that’s what I tell myself. 😉
Oh no! I hope the radiation works like it’s supposed to and she’s out of the hospital soon! It’s great that you’re able to be there with here. Sending happy thoughts your way! 🙂
