Attention renters and/or small-space dwellers: This is one awesome rental remedy / small-space solution that I’m totally digging.
Forget the DIY upholstered headboard. . . just use these stick-on wall decals instead! They’d be faster and easier to install, wouldn’t require drilling holes in a wall, let alone upholstering a board, and would cost about the same in the long run. Not to mention that they take up absolutely zero space, so even the tiniest bedroom could have a headboard.
Those are only a few of the reasons why I’d want to rock out my bedroom with one of these headboard wall decals from Blik.
And it will only cost you $30-$70, depending what size and style you use.
If you’re looking for something a bit more ornate, or available in more colors, you can find a ton of other unique designs on Etsy:
Wouldn’t this sweet, ornate initialed set be cute in a little girl’s bedroom? The great thing with the Etsy decals is that they can usually be ordered in a huge variety of colors. So if you were itching to try out a pink or lime green headboard – now is the time!
What do you think? Is a wall decal headboard a totally lame cop-out, a tacky trend, or a fun decor solution that you’d rock out with in your home?

I think this is an excellent decor solution! Beds are so expensive. I have yet to get a nice headboard because I am cheap so this would work well. Thanks for the idea!
I think this is a great option, and I’ve seen tons of versions out there. It really gives the bed a finished look.
I’ve been scoping out decals like this one for a while =) They are so fun and an absolute dream for renters like us b/c of the zero drilling and zero commitment!

I think it can be really cute! Our wall decal giveaway is open until midnight!
There are so many decals out there it’s amazing. They’re so great.
great idea! i love the idea but i’m still considering if its tacky or not
I have textured walls, so a decal wouldn’t work so well. But I rather like the idea of putting them on foam board and cutting out the silhouette. Lightweight and portable, and also a little more 3D.
OMG i love these decals and just had a wonderful idea on how to use them. I don’t have a “sofa” in my new apartment yet. But I was thinking I could use a baby mattress as a sofa and use the decal and use it as a back rest maybe???? I have to think this through.
That’s a really great idea!
