That’s what happens when you tell your husband that you feel your blogiversary post is not engaging enough. I don’t know why, but every year when I sit down to try and write a blogiversary post, I become the world’s MOST BORING PERSON.
I promise you, in real life I am not. Let’s try again:
People! Put on your party hats and stuff your face with cake, because today we’re celebrating four years of my blogging!
Four years ago today I wrote and published my first post on The Borrowed Abode, a blog I started specifically to talk about decorating a rented home. My first blog post is downright embarrassing. Lesson learned? Never dye your couch pink when you have flesh-colored walls.
Apparently a few of you stuck around despite that rocky start. I’ve been dying to do a survey for a while, but I wanted to save it for my blogiversary. It just seemed fitting. So would you please participate?
Spoiler alert: The last survey question lets you ask any questions you have for me and Ryan, and we will attempt to answer them on the blog next week.
Ryan will also be doing a nice and nerdy statistical analysis of the results, because that’s his thing.
And if you do want to use my blogiversary as an excuse to eat cake today, by all means go for it.

Hey Jane! Happy Blogiversary. 🙂 I tried to be supportive and click on your survey but it is telling me “Page Not Found”. Just FYI.

Happy Blog Anniversary! I remember when you dyed that couch (because I was your upstairs neighbor at the time!) I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since you started this blog (and since we were neighbors!) I took the survey, can’t wait to hear the results 🙂
