Check It Out & Win: New Command Clear Adhesive Organizers

Good morning, who’s in the mood for a little giveaway?  I’m kicking off the long weekend with a feature on Command Clear adhesive organizational products.

Have you ever noticed that I don’t do many sponsored posts, reviews, or giveaways? That’s because I only agree to do them for products or promotions that I love – so when you find me working with a brand, it’s one that I think rocks.

The Command brand is one of my favorites, especially because I rent.  Over the years I’ve used the Command Damage-Free Hanging tools  to avoid putting holes in my walls a million times; I even used them to hang a branch on my wall for Christmas stockings.  The hooks are super sturdy, so I use the same ones over and over and never throw them out. Some are at least 6 years old – talk about bang for your buck!

So when they offered me a set of the new Command Clear products, I agreed to try them out and review them, as long as I got a second set for a reader giveaway.

About the new  Command Clear products:

Command Clear products from 3M include clear plastic hooks, clips and organizers — complete with clear, transparent strips — that blend seamlessly into walls and other surfaces.   And as with all the other Command adhesive products, the strips have the same stretch-release action so that they won’t damage your walls when they’re removed.  The new Command Clear product line includes clear plastic hooks, photo clips, and organization caddies.  That’s awesome, because in the past I’ve used white Command cord clips to hold cords against a wall – and I’ve had to paint the white clips to blend.  Not anymore!

Here’s my take on them:

I’m loving the clear caddies I received.  They’ve come in handy for two things in my office:

I used to set my cell phone in random rooms to charge it, but thanks to the Command Clear smartphone caddy, now it sits on the wall in my office without looking ridiculous.  (If only they could also make a clear charging cord . . .)  Ryan’s just excited that the bathroom is no longer my “charging station.”

The larger Command Clear Medium Caddy is sized perfectly to hold a set of spice jars, but I put it to use in a different way.

I attached the shallow, wide trough to the bottom of my new jewelry organizer window frame, where it now corrals all my earrings that don’t have hooks.

The clear caddy looks so much better than a white plastic one would have!

At the end of the day, all of the Command Adhesive products get an A+ from me.     My only real complaint is that I wish more stores carried the clear caddies, so I didn’t have to order them on Amazon.  I’d like to add some to the insides of my kitchen cabinet doors to help keep smaller items organized.

And now for the giveaway:

Keepin’ it real disclaimer:  I was not paid to write this post.  The products were given to me for free, but the review is my opinion.   I’ll never review or give away something I’m not a fan of, because that would just be lame. End of story.

I’m off to buy these things! LOVE the caddies and I was curious if the hanging things really worked. I KNEW there was a reason (or many reasons) I read your blog!!

I’d use the caddy to attach to the inside of my bathroom cabinet – I’m always losing small things under the sink!

YOU got me into using Command products (hear that, 3M?) a while back and replaced almost every frame’s traditional hardware with Command picture hanging strips after seeing your demo of them. I hate, hate, hate all the Apple cords we have in our place, so I think I’m especially interested in using the phone caddy and the other bin for phones (I only have one, but Marc has two phones and I think they’d fit in the larger caddy).

These look awesome! I have quite a few places in my house that could use samll clear bins like these!

I love command too, I first started using command hooks when I was a college student in the dorms and have been ”hooked” ever since! I would use the hooks and caddies to help organize my husband’s desk! 🙂

I’m thinking of ways to organize my nail polish better, and I think the larger caddy would be perfect!

  • Reply Ruth at 10:25 am

So many things they could be used for. Like you, earrings that I can’t hang come to mind. Also, maybe I could corral some of the stuff that ends up sitting on my bathroom counter.

  • Reply Cula at 11:51 am

As soon as I saw these I knew they would be perfect for helping to organize our Homeschool classroom Calendar wall.

Command strips are the best! Even though my parents have owned the house I grew up in for years, my dad was always a stickler for not messing up the walls. When I moved to college I discovered the poster strips and picture hangers and used them EVERYWHERE. When it came time to move out, My dad flipped when he tried to pry the hooks off the wall of my apartment and messed up the paint on the wall. And while he was mid-lecture I calmly walked to the next hook, pulled the tab, and suddenly he stopped yelling. WIN.

  • Reply Jamillah at 12:34 pm

I would totally use them as a phone caddy, I also need a little caddy situation bedside for hair ties and such and hooks everywhere :).

  • Reply Amy Snyder Walter at 10:38 am

My daughter will use the cell phone caddy so we don’t lose her phone anymore. I am also in a rental and need the spice rack for spices. The rental is an old farmhouse and their is almost no organization.

  • Reply Lori at 7:43 pm

I would love to have one single place to charge my phone! And the rest would be perfect for my craft room that I am slowly getting organized.

  • Reply Heather A. at 9:30 am

I think the cell phone holder is a great idea. Besides using it for the phone, I’d probably put it just inside the pantry door to hold things like Kool-Aid packets and the little individual packets of yeast that get lost in the pantry.
The spice rack container would be great for the pantry, but also in the bathroom. I’d either stick it to the inside of a cabinet or just under the vanity mirror for things like barettes and bobby pins or small makeup items.

  • Reply Ashlyn Swartout at 12:10 pm

I think the cell caddy and the spice rack would be great for corralling all sorts of little odds and ends in our bathroom. I am forever losing/misplacing pony tail holders and bobby pins, so I think these would be perfect on the inside of the vanity door!

  • Reply Marie Bucher at 6:50 pm

I would put these babies to use all over the place! Cell phone caddy in the kitchen, Medium caddy in the bathroom…and a million more ideas. I can almost promise they’d migrate around to a few different rooms in the house before I was satisfied.

  • Reply Guest at 8:39 pm

These look so helpful! I don’t have a nightstand (too narrow for one) so I’d put one near my bed to hold my cell phone, earrings I forgot to take off, etc.

I LOVE Command products! I use them all over my house and office :c ) When I win these I’m going to replace some of the white ones holding up my wrought iron candle holders in my living room. The clear will blend so much better with the walls. :c )

  • Reply Kimberly at 8:59 pm

What WOULDN’T I use them for? I have the perfect space for those medium containers, right next to my “office space” in my kitchen, for clips and tape and pencils. And for my ipod, which is always getting lost someplace. Or I might give it to my husband, who charges his in his office.

I was just eying those clear command strips the other day while at the store (I was actually looking for the containers). Even now that I bought a house I like to use command strips when I’m not certain I want to drill into the wall for a hook. And I am on the hunt for the containers to corral my scrubbies at the kitchen sink (hidden, on the sink cabinet door).
