Blogging Advice, In Progress

Sweet shout-out & What’s next?

Yesterday was an exciting little day for me, bloggily speaking.  Jen at I Heart Organizing, featured my pet feeding station / wrapping station on her blog!  That was way cool to get a shout-out from such a popular blogger as herself.

My pet station totally rocks my world, but now I need to get crackin’ on other areas of the house.   Next up?  The disaster that I call my office/craft studio.  That space needs a serious intervention.  I’m working hard on sewing products for my future Etsy shop, and have quickly realized that I need storage space,  STAT.  It’s a mess, and I can’t think well when surrounded by a mess.

Don’t believe me?  Fine.  I’ll share some horrifying photos, along with my makeover plan, tomorrow.

In the mean time, check out some of these cute fabrics that just arrived at my house:

LOVE the green fabrics!!!!… actually — I like them all!

Posting pictures of a mess is the best way to motivate yourself to tackle the chaos =) I’ve been calling myself out a lot lately in hopes to get my butt in gear!

Can’t wait to see tomorrow’s post!

Where did you order the fabric from? I love them!

      Hi Jenna –

I ordered all of my fabrics off of Etsy, because I’m trying to do my part to support other entrepreneurs. 🙂 If I spy a fun fabric elsewhere, I’ll search for it on Etsy.
I’ve purchased from the following sellers: DownShadowLane, ModernOrganicFabrics, CreativeBee706, and MaterialGal so far.

HOLY CUTENESS OVERLOAD!! I love each and every one, can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with them. Exciting!!!

I’d kill for a dedicated crafting space, oh my goodness. I have to use our dining room and I keep all my supplies in a big buffet cabinet, so each time I want to work on something I have to drag it alllll out then put it alllll away. I am brainstorming big time trying to figure out some solution so I can have a cute space that I can leave it all out and accessible. We’re only here for 6 more months so maybe our next place will have a nice creative space.

Jane, I have been eyeing that Michael Miller christmas tree fabric! None of the local shops anyone in my family has been to carries it. So I’m trying to decide if I should get it on etsy or not. Honestly I seem to have plenty of fabrics. I loooove your picks!
