Trip Pics: Name that state

Well we’ve hit the road on the first leg of our vacation, heading north through the seriously insane wind and rain.  When I promised to  share at least one decor-related photo – good or bad – each day, I had no idea I’d start off with such a delightful example of curb appeal.

I’m really at a loss for words:

But Ryan isn’t, of course.  In his words,

It looks like a discount Halloween store threw up all over their yard.  .  . I think the only thing scary about it is what it’s doing to the property value.

Now, if you don’t mind, I’ve got to get back to gleefully giggling over the fact that I am sitting in my car, with a laptop on my lap, surfing the freakin’ web! As Brad Paisley says, welcome to the future.

I didn’t realize you were driving through NC on your road trip.

Oh man, that is SO unfortunate! I’m from GA and we’d say “Bless their heart…” to that mess of a yard. LOL

Cruising in the car with internet, this is what I need for our trip! What type of carrier and hardware are you using? I know they offer this now, but I’ve yet to look into it. I thought it might be handy for when we move in a few months and will be in transition between homes for quite a while.

You seriously just drove right PAST my house and didn’t bother to stop for a possum sandwich and some moonshine??? I’m crushed, truly.

Yuuuuuk. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you were travelling through my home state of Minnesota! Hehe. I had neighbors growing up that filled every square inch of their lawn with blow-up figurines at Halloween and Christmas. There must be a name for that kind of illness…
